It’s short, it’s simple, and it’s silent, but it shows what I’ve managed to get into the game.

I’m definitely starting to feel more hopeful about the project. I’ve still got a month…that might be enough time.

EDIT: So…nobody gets the reference?

EDIT: I guess it was too subtle. The line “Hold! What you are doing is wrong! Why do you do this thing?” is from Star Control 2.

LOL! “Damn straight.” I’m assuming this video shows the results of a general-purpose scripting engine. Am I right?

Correct! Everything in that trailer was done from script. And the rogue bouncing away was done with ODE physics.

The original version had some panning and zooming…and then I compressed it and realized that the text wasn’t readable. So I had to remake it in 320×240.
