Wow, a thousand years ago?! This game is grim.
Yeah, the Old Empire was smashed a thousand years ago, and most of the Noah colony ships were sent a long way away to barely habitable planets (Arth is only habitable in a ring near its equator) in the hopes that this would keep them hidden from the merciless Uhlek.
