You made me cry because you were "killing me softly with [your] song."

Thank you, Viridian. I agree that resolute action is key! I, too, realize that whenever I've sincerely moved toward my goals, I've succeeded.

Your post has served as a battery charger. I have renewed resolve to forge ahead.

"I’ve had self-confidence problems my entire life. In the past I have managed to overcome my fears and self-doubts long enough to do some great things, but afterwards I always reverted back to type, thinking “Whew! Glad I got away with that, now let’s never do that again.” This has kept me from seeing the truth - that everything I’ve really tried to do, I’ve succeeded at. And every time in the past that I have conquered my fear and moved resolutely towards my goals, the results have always been positive. But now I know."

WOW. This is exactly how I've thought ever since I started my career. As though all the successes were just mistakes that "happened by luck". Fear that people would find out that I'm really not as good as I've appeared to be. Fear facing every challenge that I'm not sure if I can do it. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I plan to manifest a whole different world for myself.

"This has kept me from seeing the truth - that everything I’ve really tried to do, I’ve succeeded at."

Stumbled over from Pavlina's blog and found this. My moment was when I realized that your sentence above applies to my failures as well as my successes. There are times I scuttled my own success because I was in an unhappy situation. I created the failure that got me out. I failed because I actually tried to, without knowing it.

Wow. My eyes have been closed for so long. If I had known, I would have manifested a better situation, rather than running from it.
